Best Robot Vacuum and Mop With Self-Empting Bases
Self-emptying bases make robot vacuums worth the price, especially for homes with a large footprint. It means you won't have to empty the bin multiple times during a run and it will run more often, and keeps your floors clean.
The app allows you to create zones and clean schedules. It did not avoid objects such as furniture legs or shoes as well as the Q Revo and j7.
1. iRobot Combo J7+
The Combo J7+ robot vacuum and mop is the first iRobot. The Combo J7+ takes the top-quality iRobot j7 robot vacuum and adds a reservoir of water, a robotic arms that can raise and lower mopping mats, as well as new sensors. The result is a capable two-in one cleaner that we found superior to non-mopping robotic vacuums.
The Combo J7+ does not include the smart mopping features that our top pick does however it still effectively cleans. It has an efficient brush roll which works well on both hard floors and carpeted areas. It can be able to get between rugs and furniture without a problem even on stairs that are steep. It has a strong suction that we were impressed with, even though it'sn't as powerful as the iRobot Roomba 694's.
The Combo J7+ is distinguished from other robot vacuums due to its mopping feature that makes use of a rotating brush to scrub the floors. iRobot calls it SmartScrub, and it works by moving back and forth, mimicking the way you scrub your floor using mop. It can be enabled for each room of the house in the iRobot app.
Like other iRobot robots the J7 Plus is incredibly simple to setup and use. It's also simple to maintain. The water tank and the dust bin are both removable, which means they're easy to clean. The iRobot App lets you watch instructional videos on how to maintain the various components of the machine. For instance, replacing the mopping pad or filtering the water tank.
The only real drawback is that the iRobot Combo J7+ only mop if you have mopping pads attached and the 210 ml water tank is fully filled. If one of these is missing, it just vacuums. You can easily keep an eye on the tank's water level via the iRobot app, and when it gets low you'll get an email to refill it.
2. Roborock Q Revo
The Q Revo is a reliable budget-friendly robot that's ideal for vacuuming and mopping. The mopping performance, particularly considering the cost, is quite impressive. It is effective on hard floors and carpets and can pick up large and small pieces of debris (think hair tangles or kitty litter). It's also great for cleaning up messes, spills and stains. It also cleans stairs and other difficult-to-get-stuck areas well.
The mopping system uses rotating pads to clean your floors and get rid of dirt and grime, even from sunk-in areas. The pad also completely dries with 45 minutes of warm air following each cleaning, preventing the growth of mold and unpleasant smells. You can easily control the robot using the Roborock app or use your voice to get your mopping going change settings, and more.
The vacuuming is also top-quality. It has an efficient vacuum and a high-efficiency filter that can handle all kinds of debris, from small to large. The only issue is that it doesn't perform as well against pet hair on carpet. After two cleaning sessions at maximum power 10 percent of pet hair was left on the test surface. This is not something you've heard of.
The Q Revo is a great product, thanks to its superior navigation and obstacles avoidance. It also has superb mopping and cleaning capabilities. It's not as great as the more expensive robot mop and vacuum, however it's an excellent choice for those with a limited budget. It also charges up to 30% faster than its predecessors and works with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and Apple Siri Shortcuts. This adds a lot of functionality for a small price. 3. Yeedi Cube
The Yeedi Cube is a vacuum / mop robot that works well and has amazing features for a affordable cost. The setup process is simple and takes just five minutes. After removing the tape for manufacturing and protective plastic, a quick scan of the QR code in the app will get you started. The app is simple to use and will guide you through each step. Once the Cube is configured, the Cube is now ready to begin mapping and cleaning.
The app lets you create maps and customise the layout of your home. The app allows you to divide rooms into smaller segments to allow them to be targeted more precisely. For example, you can make a map for the kitchen area and another one for the living room, allowing the robot to sweep the floors in each room at different times.
The Yeedi Cube is unique compared to other robots that I've tried. It has an industrial design. Its base station features a more modular design than other robots, with the tank for dirty water and an auto-empty feature on one side and the vacuum on the other. The reusable mop pads are also a separate feature. They are inserted into the top of robot and are attached to a handle at the front, making it easy to remove and refill.
The vacuum is as efficient as any other robot I've tested and has two side brushes instead of the single one in most models. This increases the coverage area of the vacuum, making it less likely to loose debris from furniture and walls. It isn't perfect in object recognition and tends to run into objects like the tassel carpet in my office.
4. iRobot Braava Jet m6
The iRobot Braava Jet m6 is a powerful robot mop that can do its job well and keeps your hard floors looking good on a regular basis. It isn't able to do the vacuuming jobs of the other hybrids on this list, and doesn't transition onto carpet or rugs like they do, but it has a long battery life, smart mopping features and is a good option to maintain your floors in a smaller to mid-sized house.
It can be used in dry sweeping mode, too it can clean up to 1,000 square feet with a single charge. It's also able to draw your floor plan using the iRobot app and clean rooms in sequence with compatible Roomba vacuums.
In wet mopping, the m6 uses precise sprays to dampen the floors in straight lines. It's fascinating to watch, and it was able to tackle even the most difficult dried-in coffee and juice stains on my floors. It can be programmed to use less or more water than the maximum amount specified in the app.
The iRobot App is one of the most user-friendly applications on the market. It allows you to connect to your home wifi. It's packed with user-friendly features like scheduling, partitioning rooms and creating no-go zones that allow you complete control over the machine. It also allows you to check how much battery power is left so that you get an accurate estimate of how long it has left before needing to be recharged and docked. The m6 is available at My Robot Centre for PS499 in the UK and at the iRobot Store in the US for $399, and on Amazon (where the m6 is currently on sale). It is available in graphite and white.

5. self empty robot vacuum mop
There's no denying that mop and vacuum robots are a practical method of keeping your home tidy without having to lift a finger but they also be expensive to purchase. The Shark AI Ultra 2-in-1 robotic mop and vacuum with XLHEPA Self-Empty base, which we reviewed, costs $699 or PS559, which is roughly 1,054 AUD. If you do not want the charging base, it will still cost $549/PS395 or approximately $675.
Shark RV2610WA is a fantastic choice for anyone looking for a machine that is flexible and able to do both vacuuming as well mopping. It can be used to deep clean stains that are difficult to remove using the stain-lifting device included in the package. The app allows you to program the machine to clean at a particular day and time, and it comes with a smart feature that allows you to control the robot when you're away from home.
As far as vacuuming is concerned, the Shark performs well and can remove most debris, but it's not as impressive on carpets. It's easy to catch pet hair in the brushroll, and its dirt compartment can become full fairly quickly. It also has a number of parts that need regular maintenance and replacement, which could add up to recurring costs over time.
There are better options on the market. The iRobot Combo J7 Plus offers better performance both on carpets that are not bare and with a high pile. It's better built and has a bigger dust bin and can move over obstacles like electrical cords with ease. The iRobot is more expensive, but it's worth the extra cost if you need a versatile cleaner that can do both tasks with ease.
